Wonderful Experience
We love this house. The views are incredible: sitting on the deck you can turn one way and see the ocean, turn the other and have the most spectacular mountain view. The pool is great for everybody, including kids, and is quite big. The large covered eating area in the back is great for grilling or just hanging out, even if it's raining. The property has a lot of trees that the birds love, it's fun to see the macaws and other birds. The house was very clean and well appointed with a large kitchen. It's a quick 10ish minute drive to the closest beach. There are plenty of restaurants and shops within a 15 minute drive (along with a convenience store in the local town). The neighboring towns are easy to get to via the highway. The property management was great. They were available if needed and happy to help and spoke good English if needed. They are also able to help setup tours. Checkin and checkout was a breeze.

Magnificent house
The house is really pretty. It is a real pleasure to use the swimming pool between 3 and 5 pm, after a warm day, checking at the sunset on the sea and the birds, even big red aras almost everyday. Inside, you have place, a nice cosy living room, full kitchen and the outside kitchen is pretty too. We have passed 5 nights at casa Lapas. From there we went to Sierpe for a mangrove Tour and in the mountains, it is a good spot to reach Corcovado parque. The people from Osa were nice and helpful every time we had a question. It is not the most recent house they have but for the price, it is more than what we expected.

Very nice view and wonderfull sunset. We saw macaws and toucans nearly every day.

Experience my family will cherish for years
The views, sunsets, scarlet macaws, howler monkeys and kind workers really make this a very very special place. This is an experience that my wife and children will cherish for years to come. Being someone also interested in moving to the area, Nick and Osa Property Management took the time to explain some questions about the area was a valuable resources for anyone interested in buying property or investing in the area. Thanks again Osa Property Management Team! All the best! Jim

Been there 4 times...looking forward to #5!
Wonderful place to stay. Renting Las Lapas is like having your own piece of paradise. There were your typical problems of staying in a 3rd world country, but Osa Property Management is in constant contact with the on-site property manager, and she responds immediately. The newly-tiled pool and the ran home out back are luxurious add-ons Pura vida!

Reparamos pronto. Lo sentimos muchos.

Luis (review from Airbnb)
The house is terrific and Abigail was always easy going . The weather is excellent and the pool clear.

Highly Recommended!
I would highly recommend the house to anyone who prefers to be away from the hassle of motels and likes to enjoy absolute beauty.

John (review from Airbnb)

As I mentioned in my review of "John": We were unaware of the issue he mentioned in his review until later in the day. We have a staff 10 minutes away and he sent us a note at 10 pm stating "there hasn't been any water since 4 pm" Obviously, had we known there was a problem at 4 pm, we would have addressed it immediately. By waiting until the evening to notify us of this, he (a) acknowledged he knew the problem was there earlier (b) He waited 6 hours to tell us, and (c) at that point we had to wait until the morning to fix it. However, we have one major concern, and that is we are not sure if John was ever in the group. The reason I say this, is that it makes no sense that he would wait 6 hours to tell us there was a problem with the water. If he was in the group, he would have known right away - by waiting, it made us think, in real time, and even more so now, that he was not in the group and that he was a 'go-between'. Regarding Communication, we would love to provide screenshots of how quickly we responded (via WhatsApp - the client's preferred method of communication) to any/all requests from them. Typically within 15 minutes. The 2 star feedback is totally unwarranted.

Dreaming of going back
We spent 7 days at Casa Lapas and have been dreaming of going back ever since. The spacious house was perfect for our family of 5. The private pool was a great place to relax in the evening watching the sunset over the ocean in the distance. The wood rocking chairs were the perfect place to have the first cup of coffee in the morning. There are many great restaurants in the area (small and family owned) and amazing day trips that kept us busy. Traveling to Costa Rica has been our families favorite vacation and we do plan to return!

Exactly what we needed
We drove up to it and were greeted by the beautiful house, striking views of the mountains, pool...exactly what we needed.

Incredible Place!
The house in San Buenaventura is an incredible place. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and beautiful place to stay in Costa Rica. It has all of the modern amenities you could ask for and then more.
