All of the region's great tours are a short 20-25 minutes away. Beaches, including Playa Ventanas, Playa Piñuelas and the world famous Whales Tail beach in Marino Ballena National Park, are an easy drive away.
Luz y Magia is located between Uvita and Ojochal.
Uvita is a popular tourist and commercial area with supermarkets, coffee shops, tour launch points, churches, gas stations and restaurants.
Ojochal is a great town with an enjoyable blend of ex-pats and locals. Ojochal is known for their world-class restaurants including, Citrus and Exotica.
The kitchen is large and modern with all of the utensils and items guests need to cook their own food. Guests may prefer to eat at some of the amazing restaurants nearby (Fusion, Exotica, etc - Osa Property Management will send guests a list of recommended restaurants) or enjoy the quaintness and authentic fare of one of the local 'sodas' nearby.

Osa Property Management will be the point of contact for all guests. Guests will first meet at the Osa Property Management office in Uvita.
Representatives from Osa Property Management will also be available via WhatsApp during normal business hours, and in the case of an emergency (property problem, health issue) anytime.

Luz y Magia is located in the mountains above the Pinuelas area of Costa Rica, between Uvita and Ojochal.
Ojochal and Uvita are known throughout Costa Rica, and indeed the world, for its amazing blend of local life, ex-pat life, amazing restaurants, world-class beaches (Playa Ventanas), a turtle sanctuary (Reserva Playa Tortuga) and wildlife.
Guests routinely see and/or hear toucans, howler monkeys, scarlet macaws, blue morpho butterflies and other amazing wildlife found in the nearby Costa Rican jungle.
Luz y Magia is located at the end of a road. There is one other home approximately 150 meters away that has a different driveway and access road.
This is a private home with unlimited 24-hour access.

Luz y Magia rests on over three acres (hectare+) of land and has breath taking ocean views from the front of the home. The pool area has lush jungle and mountain views.
Clients will have complete privacy during their time. Depending on the length of time at the house, there will be pool service done twice per week. We will notify you of the days and approximate time at check-in.
A private vehicle with 4x4 transmission is necessary to arrive at Luz y Magia.
It is located approximately ten minutes from the nearest bus stop. The road up to the home is unpaved. There are neither readily available taxis nor Uber service available in Ojochal or Uvita. Contact Osa Property Management if you need help lining up a rental car or a private driver for your stay.
Pets: A non-refundable fee of $75 per pet is required and a $200 refundable pet fee damage requirement.
No pets are allowed on the beds or furniture. All feces and waste must be disposed of by the time of check-out.
Information for long-terms stays only:
Stays of 22 days or longer are considered long-term. Clients are responsible for electricity bill, unless otherwise agreed upon in advance. In addition, long-term stays require a copy of a valid credit card. An electricity deposit of $300 will be charged to the card at the time of booking. Should the electricity bill be over $300 for the stay, the difference will be charged.
A 4x4 vehicle is required to access the property.
