Villa Colores del Viento “Colors of the Wind”, a lavish villa enveloped in the lush jungles of Escaleras, is modern vacation luxury at its finest. The villa has an impressive and unique architectural style designed to highlight the outdoors, the dramatic views of the Pacific Ocean, its red and purple sunsets, and the endless natural scenery surrounding the estate. You arrive at your Villa via a carport that is connected to the home via a covered walkway.
The stylish design is clean and contemporary, bringing in natural light and cool ocean breezes through all levels of the expansive estate. The vaulted ceilings create a spacious and airy ambiance, and the double- paned glass walls blend the house into the outdoors. It has been recently renovated by its new owners to keep its beauty and unique style for years to come.
Villa Colores del Viento utilizes a tiered layout, where two levels can be utilized in various ways. On the main floor, large glass doors open throughout the living space and master bedroom, inviting breezes and an open-air feel to the property. The wrap-around balconies encircle the villa on the main floor and provide spectacular viewing of wildlife from every angle. It’s like having your own jungle observatory. The tropical forest is visited by indigenous monkeys, birds and a huge variety of wildlife, all easily viewed from each side of the property. Take advantage of these incredible balconies for stargazing at night.
The modern open plan family room of the main floor has seating for more than six and a 60-inch Samsung TV center for movie night. High speed internet is provided throughout the home with access in all rooms. There is also a large wrap around computer desk for re-connecting with the world if emergency calls and a beautiful, new handcrafted dining table and chairs for an intimate dinner prepared by one of the many local chefs.
The master suite is impressive with its beautiful king bed and large glass walls that open to the wrap- around balcony. The suite’s luxury bathroom, with bidet, is almost as large as the bedroom itself, and has a unique spa sized coralline-tiled bathtub and rain shower. All sheets and towels were recently purchased and of the highest spa quality.
The villa also features a ground-floor level living area and outside kitchen near the pool, ideal for privacy with its own entry. It houses two bedrooms that have sweeping jungle sightlines. One room has a king bed and its own bathroom, while the other features two single beds for the kids. There is an additional full bathroom in the downstairs living space and two couches. This spacious villa also has air conditioning throughout the home and features the artwork of a magical local artist.
Both levels have their own spacious kitchens filled with modern luxury appliances including the wifi controlled GE Café induction range on the main floor. The outside gourmet kitchen is expansive, featuring granite counter tops, a new electric cooktop, and a breakfast bar fitted with handmade dark red cedar cabinetry. The floor plan stretches from the outside kitchen to the magnificent 600-square foot custom designed infinity pool with surrounding deck area furnished with deck chairs, tables, and pool floats.
There is plenty of shaded lounge seating, patio umbrellas, a large outdoor all weather dining table, and an outdoor shower for after your swim. Enjoy your “gallo pinto” at the breakfast bar, as early in the morning is the best time for viewing the soaring toucans and birds over the jungle canopy. The poolside stainless steel BBQ is perfect for grilling up fresh local fish and enjoying outdoor meals without being separated from the fun of a night swim under the lights.
Osa Property Management’s Concierge and Vacation Planner team will contact you after you have made your reservation. We will assist with making any necessary transportation arrangements from Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose (SJO), or from one of the local regional airports in Quepos or Palmar Sur, to the property. We will also arrange all excursions/activities/tours with reputable companies in the area, provide a link for grocery delivery, and make reservations at any restaurant. Our goal is to make your trip to Costa Rica enjoyable and as relaxing as you want it to be.

It is approximately equidistant (10 mins) to both Dominical and Uvita, it’s perfectly situated for enjoying the area’s pristine beaches, waterfalls, shops, services and activities.
There is a small commercial center 5 minutes from the home that has a coffee shop, convenience store, restaurant and a spa.
Guests will meet with an Osa Property Management representative at check-in and at check-out. Osa Property Management will also be available from 8 am - 6 pm via group chat.
This is a private home with no shared spaces. Guests will have the exclusive use of the property and the swimming pool.
A 4x4 vehicle is required to access the home.
