Description

Wonderfully location, privacy and the incredible amount of outdoor living space are what guests love most about Villa Uma. Under new management, with more amenities than ever before, Villa Uma is the perfect Costa Rica vacation rental home for up to 8 guests.

Each of the three (3) bedrooms has A/C.

There is a large covered patio providing year-round enjoyment for morning coffee, meals or afternoon cocktails, as you will enjoy the sounds of the howler monkeys, scarlet macaws and toucans.

Next to the pool is a perfect covered area for snacks, drinks or to simply enjoy the outdoors.

Interaction

Osa Property Management’s Concierge and Vacation Planner team will contact you after you have made your reservation. We will assist with making any necessary transportation arrangements from Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose (SJO), or one of the local regional airports (Palmar Sur is the closest but Quepos has more daily flights), to the property in Ojochal. We will also arrange all excursions/activities/tours with reputable companies in the area, provide a link for grocery delivery, and make reservations at any restaurant. Our goal is to make your trip to Costa Rica enjoyable and as relaxing as you want it to be.

Guests will meet with an Osa Property Management representative at check-in and at check-out. Osa Property Management will also be available from 8 am - 8 pm via WhatsApp group chat.

Neighborhood

Villa Uma is located in Ojochal and is within a short distance (less than 5 min car ride or a 10 minute walk) to several restaurants and bars (10-15 min walk).

Access

Guests will check-in with an Osa Property Management representative. After check-in, guests will have unlimited access to the home.

Space

Villa Uma is a private home with no shared amenities. Guests will have uninterrupted access to the home (swimming pool is serviced twice per week and landscaping is twice per month. Every effort is made not to interrupt guests and Osa Property Management will let guests know in advance when the regularly required maintenance crews will be on the property but these are required services to keep the property in top condition.

Transit

One great advantage of Villa Uma, compared to other wonderful Ojochal vacation rental homes, is that any vehicle can be used to arrive to Villa Uma. However, anytime guests are visiting Costa Rica, we always recommend an SUV.

Ojochal does not have UBER and private taxis are not always available.

Please contact Osa Property Management if you would like to secure private transportation during your time at this wonderful property, and/or transportation to/from San Jose International Airport (or any other airport).

Thank you for having us stay at villa Uma, as for the positive aspects: beautiful landscape, very quite and secure, nice house, well equipped. some issues to be addressed: 1. the appliances (pans etc.) are a bit old. The stove was not working at first, we had to turn on the gas tank 2. communication was not ideal especially in the process of transferring from AirBnB to your platform; it took some time to get replies from you also while we were in the house 3. the fact that the gardeners arrived the second day should have been addressed beforehand. It is not the guests concern if communication between you and the owner of the house is not working. I wonder what would have happened if we did not spoke spanish, as it would have been difficult to communicate with the gardener 4. Also I think it is very confusing that there are so many people in the whatsapp group. It would have been better to have one contact only who replied immediatly (although there were that many people in the whatsapp group I hardly got an immediate reply ...)
