This is a one-bedroom private home walking distance to some of the best restaurants in the Uvita area, along with a brew-pub nearby, bank, grocery stores, bars and even a barber shop. The sleeper sofa in the spacious living room provides additional sleeping space for another couple or children.
The world famous "Whales Tail" beach at Ballena National Park is only 2 miles from the home. This amazing beach is part of a land-and-sea National Park with miles of beach to enjoy. The home has an open floor plan with the kitchen, eating area and living room all in one big space with floor-to-ceiling screens, allowing the wonderful Costa Rica breezes to constantly keep you refreshed. Enjoy the feeling of 'outdoor living' while having the enjoyment of a private home.
The bedroom has air conditioning and the bathroom has a dual sink vanity.
The entire home is surrounded by 10 ft+ high hedges providing a natural barrier. Enjoy the hammocks and the 'hanging-chairs' while feeling the breezes.
Osa Property Management’s Concierge and Vacation Planner team will contact you after you have made your reservation. We will assist with making any necessary transportation arrangements from Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose (SJO), or one of the local regional airports. Palmar Sur is closest (~40 minutes) and has one flight per day in/out of San Jose, while Quepos is approximately 45 minutes from Ojochal and has multiple flights per day on either Sansa Airlines or private charters. We will arrange all excursions/activities/tours with reputable companies in the area, provide a link for grocery delivery, and make reservations at any restaurant. Our goal is to make your trip to Costa Rica enjoyable and as relaxing as you want it to be.
Guests will meet with an Osa Property Management representative at their office in Uvita, which is approximately 5 minutes from the home.
Osa Property Management will also be available from 8 am - 8 pm via WhatsApp group chat.
Uvita is one of the Central Pacific's best kept secrets. The beaches are beautiful, the hills are lush, wildlife is abundant and its the perfect place to surf, horseback ride or just relax. Add a handful of great restaurants and there's really just one thing missing from Uvita: crowds. If you are looking for a beautiful beach destination that is far less developed than Manuel Antonio, Uvita is a fantastic alternative. The highlight is Marino Ballena National Park, featuring the famous sandy "Whale Tail" where migrating humpback whales can be seen just offshore. You can whale watch, dolphin watch or snorkel.
Uvita also makes a great base for exploring Dominical (12 miles North) which is a fun, funky hippie and counterculturist enclave with great shops, dining, live music, candlelight yoga, spas, bars and beach. The tiny town of Ojochal is 9 miles to the South and is known as one of the best foodie town in Costa Rica. Ojochal also offers easy access to Playa Ventanas, a small and beautiful beach famous for its sea caves.
For those who enjoy golfing, the southern pacific’s only golf course, Osa Golf Course, is an easy 30 minute drive south.
Guests will have unrestricted access to the property after check-in with an Osa Property Management representative.
Casa Sula Sula is a private home with no shared spaces.
There is a private gated entrance to the house.
The home is easily accessible by any kind of vehicle. Uvita does not have UBER and private taxis are not always available.
Please contact Osa Property Management if you would like to secure private transportation during your time at this wonderful property, and/or transportation to/from San Jose International Airport (or any other airport).

Arrivals between 8 pm - 9:30 pm will incur a $50 charge.
Every vacation rental managed by Osa Property Management will have the following provided:
Full bag of Costa Rican coffee (250 mgs)
Dish soap (sink)
Dish cleaning sponge
Starter set of dishwasher soap (if applicable)
Shampoo in every shower
Soap in every shower
Hand soap at every sink
Start set of laundry detergent
One box of Kleenex per bathroom
If guest require more of the above items, they will need to purchase them.
